Joe Norris – Artist
I was born and grew up in rural Kent, surrounded by orchards and hop gardens. As a young teenager, I painted fields of hop poles, oast houses, and village scenes, many of which I sold to locals. I studied Art at Maidstone College of Art and The University of Wales, where I specialised in the graphic arts and photography, achieving a BA honours degree in 1989.
After a career in photography, illustration and design, I now paint and exhibit regularly finding time to paint alongside my work as a digital marketing consultant. I live with my wife and dog in Walton on the Hill, Surrey.
