Mixed Media with Collage & Print – 2hr art workshop at Little Bookham Village Hall. Artist-led painting group tuition – 11.30am-1.30pm Tuesday 3rd February.
Bring your own materials. Once you’ve booked, a list of recommended colours, paint brushes and other equipment will be sent out.

It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced or less experienced (like me)artist, Joe is great at suggesting different techniques and experiments, and has a great way of explaining why things work or don’t work. It’s a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon with like-minded people. No pressure to do things in a certain way, you can use Joe’s friendly and helpful artistic experience to expand the boundaries of your art. Highly recommended.

As an intermediate level painter, I was looking to extend my skill set: I've found the right teacher and class. Joe is clear, patient and in each session he focuses on certain aspects of painting (such as perspective) whilst giving you insights into how to paint different types of subjects. I have found has this has grown me as a painter and given me confidence. During the class he shows you how he sets about a painting and works through a step at a time in front of you, coming round to see what how we are doing, commenting helpfully and encouraging you to work in your own way too. The classes are small and friendly and we learn from one another as well which is great.

Joe’s Workshops are really enjoyable! Hadn’t picked up a paint brush in years … but the friendly, helpful and creative atmosphere, makes for a truly enjoyable, easy going afternoon - now I want to get painting at every opportunity! and can’t wait for the next workshop!!.
