Why my mini-workshops are different
No ongoing commitment
Come once or as often as you like. Just book and turn up as often as it suits you.
Hands-on tuition
Hands-on tuition in small groups of mixed ability. We all learn from each other. Because my groups are small, generally fewer than 10 people, I’ll give you as much attention as you need to gain confidence and technical skill.
Skills-based lesson plans
Each workshop addresses a specific technical skill or technique. If you attend often this builds up into a comprehensive foundation of painting skills.
Mindful social retreat
My workshops are not just lessons. We have fun and self-aware relaxation for two hours every week. Anxiety and low self-confidence can be an obstacle to trying new things. I’ll help you see the value in what you already know and help you break out of your comfort zone.
Beginners and lapsed painters find my introduction to painting accessible and inspiring. If you’re looking for a fresh start in your painting journey, or struggling with a creative block my painting workshops will suit you perfectly.
I am not a teacher, I am a guide
I prefer not to think of myself as a teacher in the traditional sense, rather, I guide you to a place where you can learn for yourself. Confidence and creativity come when fears and blocks are removed. I will help you move past your obstacles by showing you simple mindset principles that work. So, rather than demonstrate impressive techniques and dazzling skill that you can only hope to emulate, I will give you the controls and help you find your own path to creative success.
